Taking on the Minotaur

The action takes place in a gently crumbling stone labyrinth and players have to pick their way through the rubble in search of the Minotaur. It is clear from the start that a lot of care and attention has gone into the look and feel of the game, which is enhanced dramatically by the adaption to the world of virtual reality for this release.

Going Deeper into the Maze

Theseus PS VR PS4 provides a good balance between adventure, mystery and action as in addition to simply searching for the Minotaur players will ultimately have to defeat it. There are also plenty of other menacing monsters to do battle with along the way, although the fight sequences are not quite as satisfying as they could be. The game is very easy to get into and despite the rather trial and error style of puzzle solving it provides hours of gripping game play.
